Suffolk Corps - Weekly Food Pantry Support
Join us in making a meaningful impact on the Suffolk community by volunteering at our Salvation Army Community Food Pantry
Event Details:
Help support our Suffolk Food Pantry & Soup Kitchen on Thursdays.
Tasks will include:
- Making food bags for pantry from non-perishable items
- Helping us separate large amounts of frozen food into family-size ziploc bags
If you volunteer more than once you will be required to take 12 min. FREE Food Handlers video from Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia due to the handling of food (cooked) but not in packaging.
Upon arrival check-in at the main office with Lisa.
- Date: Weekly on Thursdays
- Time: 10:00 am to Noon
- Location: Suffolk Corps, 400 Bank St. Suffolk, VA 23434
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift medium to heavy objects.
