2010 Media Forum:
Thursday, October 28
8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Dominion Enterprises

The Media Forum exposes best practices of traditional and online communications.  Experts will reveal the power of the media and how it can be used to gain support for your nonprofit.  Learn what’s on the horizon for internet and social networking strategies and discover how to integrate television, radio and print to make a powerful message.  This panel session of media experts will help you revive your communications plan so your nonprofit can stay connected with donors and volunteers.

For more information about the 2010 Media Forum, or to register, contact Vanessa Evans, Director of Training and Technology, at (757) 624-2400 or vevans@volunteerhr.org.

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2010 Funders Forum.  Always an enormous success, the Funders Forum focused on connecting nonprofits to our region’s most influential and reputable funders.  Panelists included representatives from private grant making foundations, local corporate foundations, philanthropic professionals and more.  Professionally moderated by Keith Curtis of The Curtis Group this event put numerous Hampton Roads nonprofits in touch with the key individuals that guide nonprofit funding in our region and gave them the insight into securing needed funds for their programs.

Thank you to this year's panelists:
The Honorable Richard Bray, Beazley Foundation, Inc.
Anne Conner, TowneBank Foundation
