Thank you to everyone who came out and raised money
for VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads at our 5th annual HOT
Latin Nights Auction on Saturday, July 17,
2010.
Guests danced the night away to 10 Spot,
shopped our over 200 item auction and enjoyed food
from area restaurants all on a HOT July night. We
even auctioned off an Apple iPad!

Hampton Roads Volunteer Achievement Awards
For decades,
VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads has been recognizing our
community's outstanding volunteers who inspire all
citizens to action. This year VOLUNTEER
Hampton Roads recognized 22 dedicated volunteers,
including Thomas Frantz, President & CEO of Williams
Mullen and VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads 2010 Lenora
Mathews Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, during
the 35th Annual Hampton Roads Volunteer Achievement

2010 Hampton Roads Corporate Volunteer Leadership
Award
On
Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Norfolk Waterside
Marriott, Joe Thomas will be recognized as the 2010
Hampton Roads Corporate Volunteer Leadership honoree
at the Hampton Roads Corporate Volunteer Excellence
Awards.
The
Hampton Roads Corporate Volunteer Excellence Awards
are
presented annually by VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads and in
partnership with the Hampton Roads
Corporate Volunteer Council and with
Virginia Business
magazine. The awards
recognize the vital role workplace volunteer
programs play in strengthening our community and the
workforce.
VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads is accepting nominations for
the Corporate Volunteer Excellence Awards in the
categories of Good Corporate Neighbor - Large, Good
Corporate Neighbor - Small and Corporate Volunteer
Program Coordinator. To submit your
nomination,
download the nomination form and send to
VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads no later than Friday,
September 10, 2010.
